Food Concept and Development Presentation
Now that you have spent a good bit of time examining your competitors and learning about your possible customers, it is time to begin to develop your food product. Before actually making the food product, you still need to spend a good bit of time thinking about the food product.

Create a presentation that highlights the concept behind your new food product and describes your new food product. You will need to refer to our class discussion for an explanation of concept.

- Introduction - Introduce what the presentation will be about. (Get us excited about the presentation and your product.)
- Present the logo of your company.
- State the name of your new food product.
- Explain how you came up with the name of the product.
- Show the logo for your new food product.
- In 25 words or less, describe the concept behind your new food product.
- Discuss how what you learned from you competitor analysis influenced the design and development of your new food product.
- Discuss how what you learned from your survey influenced the design and development of your new food product.
- Describe how the food will look, feel, and taste.
- Describe, in detail, the anticipated recipe for your food product. (A recipe is a set of instructions for preparing a particular dish, including a list of the ingredients required.)
- Describe the packaging and show a diagram, graphic or example of the packaging.
- Describe how many individual pieces will be in a package.
- Describe how the individual food pieces will be wrapped and/or secured in the package.
- Conclusion - Bring the presentation to a conclusion by reminding us how cool your product is.
